MaryAnne P.'s Step One Story: Lowered LDL Cholesterol from 317 to 221

September 2015

"At a health screening at my office, I found out my total cholesterol was at an all time high. I told the health screening nurse I didn’t want to use medication so she recommended Step On Foods.

I used the products twice a day for 8 weeks and had my cholesterol checked again. It was lower by almost 100 points.

Because of my family history and genetics, my cardiologist advised me to begin using a statin and I also continued using SOF twice a day because I know they are heart healthy foods and they taste delicious!

I plan to be good to myself and continue to use Step One Foods."

Age: 65

Health gains: Despite a genetic predisposition for high cholesterol, Step One Foods brought my total cholesterol down from 317 to 221.

What I like best about Step One Foods: They are easily accessible foods and taste so good I feel like I'm "cheating."

My favorite food: My favorite is the Chocolate Crunch Bar, but the Pancake Mix is right up there.
