Are there differences between products?

All products provide clinically meaningful amounts of whole-food fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and plant sterols in single-serve portions. They're effectively interchangeable — choose based on taste, texture, and prep preference.

Are the products gluten free? GMO free? Allergens?

All Step One Foods products are made exclusively with certified gluten-free and non-GMO ingredients. All products contain tree nuts. The Pancake Mix contains egg whites. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar contains peanuts.

Is there really a 100% money-back guarantee?

Yes. If you don't enjoy one or more of your choices, we'll exchange or refund. The guarantee applies to first-time orders, or up to one month's worth of food cost. Refund requests must be made within 90 days of initial purchase.

What if I don't get the cholesterol results I expected?

If you don't experience a cholesterol response, we'll refund what you paid for the products, up to one month's worth. Note: increasing fiber by 10g/day (the amount in 2 servings of Step One) is associated with a 14% reduction in heart events and a 27% reduction in death from heart disease — so you've still benefited even without a measurable cholesterol change.

Shipping & Returns

How do I track my order?

Tracking is sent by email when your order ships. If you can't find it, contact customer.support@steponefoods.com or call (952) 303-4265.

What are your shipping rates?

Free ground shipping on US orders $99 and over. Under $99, shipping is determined by the carrier based on order size. We ship via USPS and FedEx.

How long until I receive my products?

Most orders ship within 24 business hours from Minneapolis, MN. Transit times vary by carrier and location — usually under 6 days.

Do you ship chocolate in the summer?

Yes. If chocolate softens in transit, refrigerate for an hour upon delivery — it returns to normal texture with no nutritional change. Optional insulated mailer with ice packs is available for an additional $12; we hold those orders to ship Mon–Wed.

How do I cancel an order?

Unfulfilled orders can be cancelled by emailing customer.support@steponefoods.com or calling (952) 303-4265. Fulfilled orders cannot be cancelled.

How do I become a Plan Member?

Plan Membership is free. Select 'Subscribe & Save' when adding products to your order.

How do I manage or edit my Plan?

Log in via the Account tab, then select 'Manage Plan' to view or edit products, quantities, and frequency. Or email customer.support@steponefoods.com — we're happy to manage it for you.

Can I pause or cancel a recurring order?

Yes — anytime, no fees. Log in, go to 'Manage Plan,' then 'Plan,' and edit the items. Or email/call us and we'll do it for you.

Will you notify me before my Plan order ships?

Yes. You'll receive an email 3 days before your order processes — plenty of time to make edits.
