Step One Foods partners with White Bear Area Emergency Food Shelf and Foundation for Essential Needs to provide Minnesota youth with nutritious meals this summer
Did you know that more than 200,000 children Minnesota children live with food insecurity? This problem worsens over the summer months, as many students who rely on the meals provided during school-year are left without food options due to summer vacation.
Which is why Step One Foods has teamed up with White Bear Area Emergency Food Shelf and Foundation for Essential Needs (FFEN) to help solve this problem through the KID Pack program. KID Pack is a program that provides Minnesota youth with a backpack filled with six healthy meals, weekly, during the summer.
